The first building of the Topkapi Palace, was built in 1453 after the conquest of Istanbul by Fatih Sultan Mehmet between the years 1460-1478.

 

House, Sea of Marmara, the Bosphorus and the Golden Horn between, on the Seraglio at the end of the historic peninsula, was built on Byzantine acropolis.
